We Shall Let The American Understand Us -2

When Mubarak Come to power in late 1981 after President Sadat get killed by
element of islamic extremist, Egypt was facing new era after october 73
victory.
Mubarak was lucky to start his regime in peace time after the sacrifice made
by all the Egyptians man and women to achieve this peace.
The cold war was about to end and the united state was ready to become the
only supper power in the plant and Mubarak was the man who can transfers
Egypt to become the corner stone of american meddle east policy.
The american give him the support he needed to stabilize his regime, in
return he slowly and surely transfer the country without proper preparation
to capitalism.
Capitalism is not for everybody when people become addicts to socialism,
which guarantee them the basic of livelihood.
When Mubarak change his compass to the west the Egyptians gradually lost
their achievements of the July 52 revolution in the field of industry,
education, agriculture and culture.
At this point the gap between the rich and poor was getting wider and 5% of
the population controlled the National Economy while the rest of the
population was starving to make the end meets.
Mubarak was not smart enough to understand that his economic polices was
destroying the meddle class which is the important factor of stabilizing the
nation.
And after three decade of his regime the Theft and looting of his privileged
elate reached its highest level since the founding of the Egyptian state.
Three generation of young Egyptian lost in this episode and they become more
materialism and selfish and lost the historical affiliation to the homeland.
Then, come the brotherhood in these circumstances under the cover of social
justice and equality and soon enough the Egyptians people discovered their
true intention which is power and privilege.
United state policy of supporting the brotherhood was not wise and against
the aspiration of january revolution .Then come the army to defend the
country from the enemy within.
We can spend the remaining of the century in the sterile debate between the
trade-offs between the generals and the politicians, but unfortunately most
of the politicians on the scene are fake and have their own hidden agenda .
The question now is : whether Egypt is ready to civilian rule? Is it
permissible to civilian rule without economic and political stability?
All these questions will be the subject of an upcoming article.
