Why our minds are Twisted?

Dear Noura,
I have read your bitter article! Every word of it had reached my mind and
soul, simply because you have succeeded in transferring your disappointment
and pain to me. Your words were simple but touching, your soul was
transparent and beautiful. I think you are an excellent writer.
As for my comment on the case of Egypt as you analyzed, I would agree with
you 100%, yet I may add little bet deeper analysis. The politics, greed and
wealth are just symptoms of a deeper disease; that is the foundation and
structure of the Arabic-Islamic mind.
How this mind works, is the source of all what you have described and
frightened your young innocent soul.
In short, that mind is basically associated the “Fiqh فقه” where it always
measures every new to the old traditional legacies. Thus, it is always
backward. Such trend was not the case all over the first few centuries of
the Islamic empire where they translated the Greek philosophy and invented
algebra (Alghwarismy). After that, few religious minds got the control over
the Arabic mind and manipulate it for the sake of the poltics.
Such minds are twisted and had nothing to do with the scientific thinking,
so they can prove the one thing is black, and if you want they prove it
white! And it is easy, all what you do is to interpret the meaning in any
twisted context that serve your purpose.
So, simply, the root cause of the tragedy you have seen in Egypt is the
absence of the scientific mind, the mind that the west has discovered very
recently since Francis Bacon in the 17th century.
Now you can imagine how long it is to catch up with the scientific mind!

Dear Uncle Mosaad,
Thank you so much for your response. It is nice to see somebody
actually understand the faults and criticisms the Egyptian people fail to
see. I agree with you all the way with the additional comments you have made
and the historical evidence that you have provided to me has only opened my
eyes more to the root of this problem. I am very happy that you have taken
time to read my writing, it really means a lot as a young writer still
learning. Thank you for contributing to my knowledge even more and it should
very well help me in the future.
